Drive was recently able to take a first-hand look at General Motors’ emission-free hydrogen generator at its proving ground in Milford, Michigan – and watch as it fast-charged a Hummer EV.

Especially in parts of the world where the electrical grid isn’t as well built out, I could imagine this would be one of the more effective ways to get fast charging into relatively remote areas.
