Zillow’s heat maps are only interesting if you have eyes and a brain… at which point they are painfully addictive.
But a more interesting question… Shouldn’t we be calling these “water maps” since the expensive places (i.e. red) have nothing to do with the temperature and everything to do with the proximity to a large body of water? Don’t believe me?
Here’s Miami:
Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston and Dallas all agree with my assertion… and despite what you may have previously thought, Texas is clearly a blue state!
Update: I had a stroke of brilliance… Zillow should name these “ze water maps”
